It is Creas' first investment in Germany.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The Funding Round<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The round was led by <strong>amberra<\/strong>, the corporate venturing studio of the Genossenschaftliche FinanzGruppe Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken. New investors joining the round include German impact investor <strong>BONVENTURE<\/strong> and <strong>Creas<\/strong>, Spain's oldest impact investor. The round was also supported by existing investors Nina Capital, Calm\/Storm Ventures, caesar., Ship2B (also an impact fund), Venture League, Atlantis Ventures and other partners. The total amount of the round remains undisclosed.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLillianCare is our first investment in Germany, and we are very excited to begin this new chapter together with such a capable team and an experienced management board. We were particularly impressed by the company's high impact potential and its ability to drive systemic change by addressing one of Europe's most pressing challenges: the shortage of doctors in rural areas\u201d<\/em>, emphasises <strong>Lara Viada<\/strong>, Managing Partner at Creas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Problem and Solution<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>According to a study by the Robert Bosch Foundation, by 2035 Germany will face a shortage of 11,000 general practitioners, with rural areas being most affected. Founded in 2023 by healthcare experts Linus Drop and Daniel Hefel, LillianCare directly addresses this challenge: in collaboration with partner practices, it brings modern, locally accessible medical care to rural areas.<\/p>\n<p>Its <strong>hybrid practice model<\/strong> combines on-site interdisciplinary teams with digital services such as telemedicine. Patients gain quicker access to nearby medical care, while physicians benefit from more flexible work models that also allow for remote work.<\/p>\n<p>Five hybrid practices have already opened in Rhineland-Palatinate and Lower Saxony, regions with an above-average share of general practitioners nearing retirement, where LillianCare is already helping to close emerging care gaps. Medical independence remains fully preserved: <em>\u201cOur investors enable the establishment of new practices through their commitment, but they have no influence on medical decisions\u201d<\/em>, explains Linus Drop.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Looking Ahead<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>By 2030, the company aims to establish <strong>400 additional practices<\/strong> based on the LillianCare model, and the newly raised capital will primarily support this expansion. Starting in 2026, LillianCare also plans to scale its model through licensing partnerships with physicians who run their own practices while relying on LillianCare's proven infrastructure and concept.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe fact that we were able to attract additional investors to join us on this journey is a strong signal for us.
