Bluemove provides car rental by the minute from an app. A mobile device is used to open the car without key.

Occupation of urban areas by cars, traffic congestion and air pollution in cities have become unsustainable. Public transportation needs a complement in its search for multimodal alternatives.

Solution
An hourly car rental service (carsharing) representing an alternative to private cars and traditional rentals. Citizens who choose this manner of using private cars drive on a pay-to-use basis, rather than driving their own car.

Impact
While Creas held an investment in this company, the number of users increased fivefold, xxxxx cars were retired from circulation and the service was extended to 3 cities.

Disinvestment
The company was purchased by Ubeequo (Europcar’s subsidiary for carsharing).
